How it works — in 3 quick steps
- Install the extension: Add Coinbase Wallet Extension from the browser store and pin it to your toolbar.
- Create or restore a wallet: Generate a secure seed phrase or import an existing one. The seed is encrypted locally — not stored by Coinbase.
- Connect and interact: Visit a dApp, select "Connect Wallet", then approve actions from the extension. Review gas fees, transaction details, and permissions before signing.
